Jask Technologies, LLC, the owner and operator of Jask.co (“Jask”), is a paid direct messaging platform that enables creators of spiritual advice, intuitive readings, and related services (“Creators”) to offer paid direct messages (“Conversations”) with their clients (“Clients”). While all users are required to comply with our Terms of Service, Creators should also follow these Creator Guidelines to ensure that Jask remains a safe space for all users. These Creator Guidelines (“Guidelines”) govern both the Content posted by Creators and the activities of those Creators while interacting with Clients and other Creators or otherwise using Jask.
We are committed to encouraging Creator expression and to ensuring that all Content on Jask is legal, safe, and enjoyable for Clients. To assist in these efforts, Creators should not post, upload, or share Content that violates these Guidelines or credit card association rules.
We may remove any Content that describes or depicts – whether real, simulated, or implied:
Minors in any context that is unsafe, exploitative, or otherwise inappropriate.
Lack of consent, including coercion, intimidation, threats, hypnosis used to override a person’s will, or any depiction of a person who is incapacitated, unconscious, or otherwise unable to consent.
Violence, weapons, gore, or graphic depictions of bodily harm.
Cruelty toward animals.
Self-harm, including suicidal ideation, cutting, or instructions encouraging the same.
Hate speech or harassment targeting any person or group based on race, ethnicity, religion, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or similar characteristics.
Curses, hexes, or other practices directed at identifiable third parties without their consent in a manner intended to threaten, intimidate, or harass.
Medical, psychiatric, legal, or financial advice presented as a substitute for licensed professional advice.
Guaranteed outcomes, including guarantees of lottery numbers, medical cures, the return of a specific person, pregnancy, death, or similar definite results.
We may also remove any Content which advertises, promotes, encourages, facilitates, or solicits the use of illegal goods or services, including human trafficking and illicit drugs.
If your Content features another identifiable person — for example, a photo or video showing a friend, client (with their permission), or any other recognizable individual — you must have that person’s permission to feature them and to share the Content on Jask. You agree to obtain and maintain reasonable documentation of that permission and to provide it to us upon request. Any person featured in your Content must be eighteen (18) or older. You remain solely responsible for ensuring these permissions are valid and may be liable for any claims arising from Content that features another person without consent.
We are committed to ensuring that Clients get the benefit of their bargain. In other words, we want Clients to get what they pay for. To assist in these efforts, Creators should ensure that all representations made to Clients in furtherance of licensing Content on Jask are lawful, including that such representations are truthful and not misleading. Creators should follow all laws, rules, and guidelines issued by the Federal Trade Commission or any similar state agency that may pertain to rules against deceptive or unfair trade practices. For example, Creators should:
Provide an accurate description of the Content and the nature of any reading, spiritual practice, or advice offered, including the modality used (e.g., tarot, astrology, mediumship, energy work) and any mature themes that may not suit all audiences.
Clearly present readings, spiritual practices, and intuitive advice as offered for entertainment, personal reflection, and spiritual exploration, and not as a substitute for licensed medical, psychiatric, legal, or financial advice.
Not guarantee specific outcomes from any reading, spell, ritual, or other spiritual practice.
Not present pre-recorded readings or messages as if they were performed live for the specific Client.
Adequately disclose if third-party assistants are used to interact with Clients.
Only remove or terminate Content for legitimate business reasons or as otherwise required by law.
We are committed to ensuring that all users remain safe while using Jask. To assist in these efforts, Creators should not:
Allow a third party to use the Creator’s account or keyboard in a manner that misleads Clients about who they are interacting with.
Release the personal information of any other user or third party without that person’s consent.
Harass, disparage, defame, or otherwise interfere with the business or personal lives of other users, whether on Jask, on third-party websites, or offline.
Exploit a Client’s emotional, psychological, or financial vulnerability, including by pressuring a Client to purchase additional Content, readings, or services.
Solicit or accept payments outside of Jask for services that should be conducted on the platform. In-person readings, retreats, or appearances arranged separately from Jask are at your own discretion and outside the scope of these Guidelines and Jask’s payment processing.
Defraud us or our users (e.g., working together with a member or “hacker” to accept payment with stolen credit cards).
We may delete the account of any Creator who violates, attempts to violate, or assists or permits any person in violating these Creator Guidelines. Creators who are aware of any Content on Jask that violates these Creator Guidelines, or of any other Creator who is violating these Creator Guidelines, should fill out our Complaints form immediately. Please provide as much detail as possible, including a description of the objectionable Content or the location where that Content may be found, the username of the Creator engaging in suspicious activities, the date and time of identification, the reason we should remove the objectionable Content or investigate the activities, and a statement certifying the accuracy of the information provided to us.
